Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Ths was fabulous! I did make a few minor changes solely due to dietary needs. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt -- too much salt for my high blood pressure. I also mixed the mustard into the mayo, and added about 2 heaping tablespoons of sour cream into the mayo. Will definiately make again!

Almost Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Fabulous! I did make a few changes only because of what I had on hand. No diced tomatoes, so I used a can of Rotel and 2 small cans of tomato juice. Used 1/2 tsp salt due to dietary needs. Used long grain rice, I never buy instant. I also put everything into a casserole dish when done, covered with shredded cheddar, put it in the oven, covered, at 325 for about 20 minutes. Will definitely make this again!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
I prepared this dish for Christmas Eve. Fabulous! I'd forgotten to buy fresh parsley, so just sprinkled on some parsley flakes. An excellent meal. I served this with a mixture of white and wild rice. Will definitely make this again.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
I peel the potatoes before boiling. I always boilg potatoes whole -- they absorb less water. Add a big scoop of minced garlic to the water. I don't add cream cheese, but rather a large scoop of sour cream. Fabulous!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
I didn't find this to be anything special. I used bone in chicken thighs, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Was ok, but not over the top.

Ukrainian Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
Very similar to how my Ukranian Baba made them. I did make a few changes, such as chop up bacon and fry the onions in bacon grease instead of butter. I used tomato soup, slightly diluted. Cover the holopchi with cabbage leaves and roast at least 2 hours.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2014
I made this tonight and thought it was very good. I gave 4 stars because I made a few changes due to personal taste. Upped the garlic and onion powders. I thought the beef was a bit too dry, so used 1` 1/2 tins tomato sauce. Didn't top with sauce, but added shredded sharp cheddar a few minutes before it was done. I'll make this again.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2014
I love this recipe! Omitted most of the salt due to dietary restrictions. Also changed the cooking method. 425 for 20 minutes. Turn down the oven to 325, cover, 20 min per lb. The drippings make fabulous gravy.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2014
I made this recipe as written in the beginning and though it very bland. Tried to spice it up with garlic powder, onion powder and pepper, still not very flavorful, although we did like it. Sorry, but I have to give it only 3 stars.

Mushroom Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2014
I love this recipe, but I did make a tweak. I discovered adding 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning adds tons of flavor.
