Sweet and Sour Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
Followed others suggestions and used cornstarch instead of flour. I doubled the recipe, added brocolli, and red pepper. I made the sauce on the stovetop, then poured it over the veggies and uncooked chicken strips in the crockpot. Cooked on low 3-4 hours, added pineapple chunks last 1/2 hour. Served over brown rice and was delish! Crowd pleaser and will make again!

Harvest Rice Dish

This recipe is so delicious! I make it just as written, except I chop the onion rather than leave it in strips. I also use a whole container of sliced mushrooms and chop them. The orange zest adds a nice zing.

Tomato Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
Yummy soup! I used all broth instead of water, and I used one cup of barley. I also zapped the carrots in the microwave for a couple of minutes before adding them, to shorten the cooking time.

Kristi's Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This recipe makes a lot! After reading the reviews I split it into 2 meals, and froze one batch. I used a large bag of frozen chopped broccoli, didn't have celery or mushrooms, but it was still good. A good recipe to serve to kids...they all liked it.

Peanut Butter Fudge IV

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This fudge is great. Friends and family loved it. It was easy to make. I like the texture of it, smooth, a little crumbly..I don't like pb fudge that is sticky. It reminded me of my Grandmothers fudge. I will definitely make more over the Holidays!
