Bubba's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
De-lish! My kids who are 7 and 3 even ate it and my hubby lived it as well! I made just a couple changes as I didnt have all the ingredients. I used turkey kielbasa, cubed cooked ham and salad shrimp that I added after I threw in the celery and red pepper. I doubled the chicken broth since I didn't have beef and added a little bit of tomato soup. Once that came to a boil I added zararans rice...man, what great flavor! Thanks for the recipe!

Simple Chicken Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
This was delicious...very moist. I did make a few changes since I didn't have all of the ingredients. I put cut up celery inside the chicken along with tastefully simple's onion onion and garlic garlic as well as on top. I pierced the chicken all over before adding the bacon to the top and I also used rosemary instead of thyme. I would definately make this again and again!

Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
This was absolutely amazing! Not only did my husband love it but my 5 year old and 18 month old daughters both loved it as well! This was also so easy to make and you can adjust the red pepper flakes to your liking. I will definately keep this one in my recipe box!

Balsamic Chicken and Fresh Mozzarella

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
This is a dish I will definately make again! I did make some minor changes to it. First I didn't have balsamic dressing so I used the Tastefully Simple's balsamic and basil dipping oil. I didn't marinate for the time stated. Instead I marinated it for about a half hour then fried it. I used cherry tomatoes and cut up the fresh basil. After it was all done, I drizzled the balsamic and basil dipping oil over the dish...turned out great!

Easy Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
This was absolutely delicious! I did make a couple of changes though. I cut up chicken breasts and sauteed them in olive oil then added taco seasoning with the water the seasoning called for. I omitted the green onion since I didn't have any. I mixed the seasoned chicken (without the liquid) to the sour cream and soup. I used a mexican shredded cheese blend and left the foil off for the last 15 minutes of baking, broiling for 5 minutes. This was to die for! Even my 18 month old loved it! I will definately make this again!

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I didn't follow this recipe to the letter since I didn't have all the ingredients. However, I added shredded cheddar, some seasonings (onion flakes, garlic seasoning), mushrooms, italian bread crumbs and I used the entire packet of ranch seasoning. I'm not usually a fan of meatloaf but I thought this was good and my 5yr old enjoyed it as well. Mine did turn out a little greasy but was ok. Even with all the additions, it really didn't taste much different than any other meatloaf per my husband.

Kielbasa and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
I made this last night for my family for dinner. I made a few adjustments to the original recipe though. First, I fried the Kielbasa and potato slices with Tastefully Simple's Onion, Onion as well as minced garlic until the potatoes and kielbasa started to brown a bit and become tender. I used Cream of Celery soup and 1 can of milk. I added a couple handfuls of shredded sharp cheddar cheese then mixed in the kielbasa and potatoes. I added extra of the onion onion spice and minced garlic. I put it in the oven for 30 minutes then topped with french fried onions and additional shredded sharp cheddar cheese and put back in the oven for 15 minutes. With these changes, it was delicious! Not only did my husband love it but my 4 year old daughter and my 10 month old daughter loved it as well! Thanks for the recipe!
