Cinnamon Apple Syrup

This recipe was okay as is, but when I added brown sugar- it tasted MUCH better. I think next time I'll do half brown sugar half regular, and i added a pinch more than 1/2 t. cinnamon as suggested by other reviewers and that was a good amount, not too much, not too little. It did turn out syrupy for me, because of letting it simmer for the appropriate amount of time - as stated- 10 minutes or until the apples are tender. I did add the full 2 T of water, too. This was a good base recipe that you can tweak to make for your personal tastes.

Chicken Nuggets

MMMMmm! Tonight was the first time I've ever made baked chicken nuggets, and it will definitely not be the last. I made my own breadcrumbs, then made my son plain nuggets with salt only. Then I made mine with basil, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. I didn't have parmesean or paprika and I still think they were amazing. When my son ate an entire chicken breasts worth of nuggets and asked if he could have more, I knew this recipe was a keeper. Thank you for a healthier alternative to the deep fried nuggets my son is so fond of. :)

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Let me start out by saying that these are AMAZING! I had 3/4 cup of pumpkin leftover so that's the sole reason I decided to make these. (just halved rest of ingred.) I never really had any desire to make whoopie pies. However, I'm SO glad I decided to! As another reviewer suggested, I used a dash of nutmeg because I didn't have any cloves or ginger. I also left them as cookies and topped them with cream cheese frosting and mini chocolate chips-- DELICIOUS! I am embarassed to admit how many I've eaten in the past 24 hrs. :) The batter is a bit thick, but don't let that throw you off, also let batter sit for about 10 min before baking. I will be making these A LOT, can't wait to make some for my next family get-together! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Pizza Sauce III

This sauce is pretty tasty! I only made half and there was still quite a bit, and I added extra spices. I'm a big believer in FLAVOR. I added garlic salt because I didn't feel like mincing anything, and basil and EXTRA oregano. I also used the easy pizza dough recipe from this site as well! Pretty good basic cheese pizza! My son ate it right up. Thanks for this recipe!
