Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

This is such a delicious, easy recipe. I followed it the way it said, but I think I'll make a couple changes when I make it again. The sauce is a little thick, so I think I'd use a bit less flour. I'd also use a little less Velveeta, and add either more cheddar or some pepperjack. Those are just changes I'd make for my preference. But overall, this is really good. My husband took one bite and begged me to make this again once this batch is gone!

Cranberry Muffins

I am so disappointed in this recipe! I made some of the alterations other suggested - I used 1/3 cup brown sugar and added 1 cup of walnuts. They smelled delicious cooking. They're not bad, but they are not sweet at all. There doesn't seem to be much flavor, except for the bitterness of orange zest (I will definitely cut that in half if I make these again) and the tart of cranberry when you get a chopped piece. Overall, very disappointing.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This cake turned out great. My husband likes chocolate okay, but prefers just about anything else over chocolate, and he cannot stop talking about this cake. I used chocolate milk instead of coffee liquer, and dusted the pan with cocoa powder. This one is a keeper!

Chocolate Cream Pie II

This was a bit salty for our taste and it wouldn't set. I should have read the other reviews first and used 4 tablespoons of corn starch instead of 3. I've got plans to try it again with less salt and more corn starch, which will hopefully make big improvements. Pretty good though!

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I followed the reviews and only did 4 yolks. I did not use 2 cans of condensed milk. I added lime zest and 2 drops of green food coloring. I chilled my crust and filling before baking. Tasted delicious! Turned out awesome! I've made 4 using this combination and all were fantastic. Great recipie!

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Red Velvet Cake I

These did not turn out for me. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but they were quite bland. After about two days, they went bad and tasted like sour milk. I may have done something wrong, but I feel sure I followed the recipe. Hope others have better luck with this!

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

I was excited to try this recipe and sorely disappointed. I did my best to follow the recipe to the letter. It tasted ok but the texture was really gritty from the sugar. Also, my husband refused to eat it with the raw egg in it.

Cranberry Apple Pie II

Excellent pie! Very tart, so if you're not looking for tart, I would make something else. I made this for Thanksgiving and then was begged to make it again for Christmas. Very good!

Mom's Ginger Snaps

These didn't turn out quite like I thought they would. They are still good, but not a favorite. I will probably make them again, but not frequently. Watch them carefully because I managed to burn about half of mine. They are spicy and sweet!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This was super easy to make and delicious! We put it over noodles. My husband said he would eat it at least once a week. If you are making it for 2, definitely cut the other ingredients in half. I read a few reviews that said they cut the chicken in half and left the sauce the same. It was a little too much sauce for me. We will definitely make this again!

Holiday Pumpkin Bread

This pumpkin bread is wonderful! I didn't have any raisins so I skipped that, but I think it would have made it even better. Just enough sweet and spice for my husband and I!
