Fire Roasted Tomato and Feta Pasta with Shrimp

I had high hopes for this simple recipe. It was good, and very quick to make. But, it's missing something. Maybe red pepper flakes. Anyone have ideas?

Quick Pasta Sauce

If you want quick, this is your recipe. It is better used as an ingredient, rather than the star on top of pasta by itself. I used it with Italian sausages, onions, peppers and fennel--and it was great! I couldn't help but add to it, though -- I used a T of fresh basil, dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes and a touch of red wine. A good, solid recipe for every cook!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Wow. Outstanding! I only tried this recipe based on the reviews...like others, I didn't see the magic in the recipe. But, it's just an amazingly juicy, delicious chicken...and so simple! I've tried so many roast chicken recipes and techniques. This one is now my favorite. Try it!!

Lucky New Year's Black-Eyed Pea Stew

Seeing "lucky" in the recipe's name attracted me. I made this stew on New Year's Day and it was a hit! I used the bones from a honey baked ham and upped the Cajun seasonings...the sweet and spicy flavors worked beautifully together. I served it with brown rice, to keep a resolution. Very good! Thank you for a lovely recipe!

Authentic Pepper Pot Soup

This is a really great recipe. My father and his girlfriend are horrible food snobs. I gave them some of this soup for dinner on a chilly night. When they asked for the recipe, I knew I'd hit gold! Thank you! I used chicken and sweet chicken sauage instead of the tripe...just can't do tripe. Enjoy!!
