About this Cook
I'm a retired Canadian living down south with my American Husband who is from Alabama. We reside in charlotte NC and I love it down here. Being a person who loves to walk out doors with our 4 legged son Hammie (Lasso), the weather here is perfect. My husband & I do the gym 3-4 times weekly,to help keep fit & healthy.
My favorite things to cook
Just starting to get back into the cooking & baking since retired. My husband being southern loves food. I'm not real crative but am trying to change. I cook mostly rice, pasta,or potatoe casserole dishes. Or also crock pot cooking. They are good for a couple day dinners. He does all the bbq and is awesome. I have problems with drying the meat when cooking it. His is always moist. But I'm hopeing to get better. I also like to bake. So started again. Make cookies and bannana breads. Want to make pies again. I use to make awesome pies way back. Baking was my favorite. I'm looking forward to branching out and trying some of the great recipies on this site.

Nana's Tuna Casserole Surprise
I look at the reviews before I decide to try it. There have been 3 on this one. First One didn't use tuna rated it a 4. Another changed almost the whole recipe and rated it 3. The 3rd said it didn't amount to enought to fill the dish and rated it a 1. Was it still a good recipe or are you giving it a 1 because it didn't fill the dish? The other two. Did you do this recipe before changing the ingrediance, Or did you make the changes on the first attempt? Rating's aren't judged after changing ingrediances. As for not filling the dish. Make sure of your sizes and amounts.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II
This was a big hit with the hubby. The only changes I did was substituted milk with chicken broth. I added frozen peas and fresh mushrooms. With a salad was a great meal. It's a keeper.
