Tater Tot Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
I'm from MN and we love this dish. I guess it is all about your family's preference. We like to taste the mushroom soup, so I made it as is, however I did add a tablespoon of chopped garlic to the meat and onion. Wonderful on a cold winters day like today (12 degrees F). Thank you Chuck!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Perfect just as. My husband said he was "very impressed" and that it "was much better than he had thought it would be". I will definately make this again. So much better and cheaper than the kind you can buy.

I kept the crust the same, did what Gourmetmommy did (except with 3/4 c lemon juice, and they were perfect. Thanks so much for making my first batch of lemon bars so wonderful!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Very good. However, we like our salsa a bit more blended, so we blended half the recipe, and then mixed it in the other half. I had huge, very hot peppers, so we used one. We added a little more salt, minced garlic, and a tiny bit of suger. Surprisingly the surgar really rounded the flavors out. It made a perfect spaghetti jar full. I may make this for gifts some time. Very fresh and tasty. Thanks, Bluebayou!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
This cheesecake was so easy, that I thought I did something wrong. We made it twice in one month, and my husband did not want to share it. It turned out great both times. We used the foil water bath, and let it cool for 2 hours in the oven. I pureed raspberry pie filling for the first, and blueberry pie filling for the second. We marbled the cake with this. I do have to say that the cake was so thick that the first marbling only did the top half. For the second, we filled half way, marbled, then repeated on top. I was told that it was the most beautiful cheesecake someone ever saw! Thanks, Chantal!!!

Pumpkin Pie Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
I made this exactly as the recipe called, and it was terrific. I thought it was even better the third day. I made one loaf pan for the recipe, and three mini loaf pans - following the directions of another reviewer - by covering with foil after 20 minutes and baking another 20. I gave the mini loafs away and kept the large loaf for us, and visitors to enjoy. We ate it heated up in the microwave with brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese. Great with a nice hot cup of joe. Yummy!
