Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Maybe it my own doing, but I wasn't too pleased with the results of this recipe. I used fresh green beans instead of canned and theat could have made the difference. It's just that the sauce turned out lumpy and the family wanted the fried onions back.

Pecan Snack

I used brown sugar instead of white. They were way beyond yummy. I had them in small bowls just as you would put any snack item and everybody raved about them. Even my little brother, who doesn't like pecans, kept heading back for more. Also, if you're looking for something to fill your house with a "festive" aroma, this is your answer. Thanks Bea.

Fantastic! Didn't change a thing. At first I was nervous about it being to spicy, but not at all. Once everything cooked as ordered, it all melded together just great. A must try at least once. We will do it again.

Avocado-Mango Salsa

This was fantastic. I added half a diced jalepeno pepper, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, and left out the salt. It was the hit at our little dinner gathering. Suggested it for my friend to take to her family reunion. It was all the rave.

Coconut Shrimp I

Very tasty. We loved them. Need to keep a close eye on frying time though or they get too dark quickly. I added a little honey to the dipping sauce...Yum.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This is fantastic. The first time I made it, it was a hit. The second time I made it, I doubled the cinnamon by mistake...it was even better. Also, I made it as cup cakes a couple times and topped them with cream cheese frosting. The Best.

Peanut Cluster Candy

I made this at Christmas to add with my cookies to hand out as gifts; A nice added treat. Four people asked for the recipe. Just a note: I didn't know what confectioners coating was. Turns out it's White Almond Bark.
