Easy Indian Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Very good but lots of fat. I will make again but heed the advice of others with 1/4c butter and evaporated milk. All we were missing was the naan!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
Very good and couldn't be any easier to do! I baked the chicken at 350 for 40 minutes and the chicken was very tender. My four and eight year old daughters loved the sauce. I used chicken broth instead of wine and 8 oz cream cheese with onion and chives. We had a side of peas and garlic bread to complete the meal.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
My seven year old and three year old really, really enjoyed this. This was easy to do without much effort. We'll definitely make this again. I did add a bit more parmesan to the meatballs than the recipe states.

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
This was very good! I read a lot of the reviews. People were talking about the consistency being like a smoothie which mine was too. I then had that important "A-Ha" moment...it is ice cream therefore it needs to freeze! So, take your smoothie-like concoction and put it in the freezer. Once it is frozen, you will not be disappointed!

Tasty Chicken

My entire family (to include the picky 3 year old) enjoyed this recipe! I would definitely recommend doubling the sauce if you like to have some on your rice.

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
This was very good! I added a bit more curry than the recipe required. As with most salads like this, it got even better as it sat. So, I would suggest making this a day or two ahead. You won't be disappointed!

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Really good and very easy. I cooked the chicken with some onion and garlic. I added a bay leaf once everything was combined and let it simmer for a while. I also added carrots and peas to make it a one dish meal. My six year old and two year old absolutely loved it! I did, too!

Exceptional! I made the recipe as stated except the tomatillo substituted with salsa verde. This was a great recipe that tasted yummy the day I made it and even better the next day!

Mexican Baked Fish

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
I do not like fish but wanted to cook some fish for my husband. He really enjoyed the fish! I used hot salsa for the kick. I was ecstatic with the ease of the recipe and my husband's reaction to it. I will certainly make this again.

Kool Ade Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
I made this recipe for my husband's promotion reception and it was very well received. I had two punch bowls set out. One bowl had the punch with sherbet added and the other did not have sherbet. I liked both versions but I had several people approach me for the sherbet recipe. You won't be disappointed with this recipe!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
I've made a recipe very similar to this for years and it was always well-received. Adding cream cheese to the recipe gives it a little more creaminess as well as extra calories but when I do make this, it is for large gatherings. I do not recommend making this at home for small families as you will sit and eat it all by yourself! I do recommend making it a few hours earlier than when needed to allow the banana flavors to permeate the dish.

The Very Best Burgers!

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
The name says it all!! I was asked to bring burgers to a picnic. I do not eat burgers anymore so I had to find a recipe and happened upon this one. I followed the recipe to the letter but omitting the blue cheese. I tried one to see how they turned out and OMG!!!! It was incredibly moist and delicious! I was able to make 12 bun sized patties.

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
These meatballs are excellent! They were devoured at a Christmas gathering. I made these exactly by the recipe but the next time around, I will cut down the brown sugar to 3/4c or so and I will bake them without the sauce as the sauce burned the first batch. For the remaining meatballs (walnut-sized), I baked them about 25 minutes the day before. The day of the event, I put them in the crockpot on low, tossed them with the sauce and let them heat up for an hour or so. Yum! Yum!
