Luscious Slush Punch

Apple Cake V

Lovely tasting cake that all my friends loved. I doubled the quantities & made 2 cakes: 1 to eat & 1 to freeze. The 1 to eat went in 10 minutes! The cake that I wanted to freeze, I first cut into squares. Now I just take a couple of pieces out of the freezer, warm them in the microwave & they are delicious! Great with ice cream as a dessert, too! Everyone wants the recipe! Thanks Deb.

Pizza On The Grill I

The pizza base is especially great. I made the dough in my breadmaker on DOUGH setting & cooked it in the oven, as I don't have one of those fancy BBQs...YUM. If two pizzas are a bit much, you can freeze the other base once it is rolled out!

Sara Jane's Oatmeal Cake

Great tasting cake, with a caramel flavour. I had to cook mine 10 min extra. Used desicated coconut for topping, but found the topping a little greasy. Next time I'll try the flaked coconut, or use less butter.

Caramel Popcorn

The final result was great...kids loved it, BUT...check the wattage of your mircowave if you're going to cook it that way, as mentioned in a previous review. My microwave is 1200w & the suggested 30-40 sec x 4 burned the first batch. (Not a nice experience...it really stinks!) Second batch I cooked for 20 seconds x 4 & it was heaps better...it went like a flash

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Absolutely delicious! I don't normally have much success with pork chops...generally they're tough, but these were tender & beautiful. I added Garlic Salt to the breadcrumb mixture. I'll definately be making these again and again. Thanks Kathy, from Brisbane Australia

Fresh Fruit Tart with Ginger Snap Crust

I made individual tarts. Instead of crushing the biscuits to make a crust, I used whole biscuits, warmed in a slow oven for 5 - 10 minutes, and then pressed the biscuits into small round patty-cake tins. This made heaps of individual tarts that were gone in a flash at our get together. Fantastic for a crowd...great finger-food. Even my mum, who hates cream cheese loved them. Excellent Recipe. Thanks.

Apricot Muffins

Yum. My family are muffin connoseurs and these definately passed the test. I made them with chopped dates added into the mixture and wondered if they would go well together, but they were great. Nice texture and great taste. A Keeper for sure!!
