great use of chicken. My husband and I liked this. It was a divided vote with the kids. I would make this again.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
Hard cookies to get right, but these were really good. I added a little vanilla as well as a little chocolate chips. I also used all butter flavored crisco instead of the margarine. They turned out great!

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
these waffles have quickly become the familys' favorite. They smell so wonderful when cooking. They truly are delicious. I didn't have any self rising flour, so I added 23/4 t of baking powder to the flour. The kids are fighting to get to the fridge in the morning to get the leftovers. Thanks for the recipe.

Crab Salad III

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
Quick and easy to make. I generally leave out the radishes I don't care for them to much. The kids like it so it is a keeper. It will be used many times.

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2002
I thought that this recipe was pretty good. I left the anchovies out because I don't like them. I was the only one that ate it, so I probably won't make again.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2002
This recipe had a pretty good base. I did wind up adding a lot more spices. I put about 3 T of cumin in. I also added more chili pepper, deleted the cilantro, hominy and added about 2 cups of fresh corn. I did not cook the corn first, I cooked it with the rest of ingredients minus the beans until the last minute. I did add the lime and most of us thought that it was pretty tasty. Thanks Star!

Blackberry Cobbler

The recipe itself tasted great.I did as others directed and added more blackberries. When I rolled it up, what a mess. I stuck it in the pan anyways and it came out very tasty.

I looked this recipe up in my trusty recipes that I have gotten from my grandma over thirty years ago. Identical, these are yummy! In my recipe it calls for 1 cup mashed potatoes, otherwise the same.
