I'm rating this 5 stars, although I really had to follow everyone's advice. I prefer a bit of garlic powder/salt to the pork rub. The first time I made the sauce, I used the Simply Fruit that I had on hand. I found I had to adjust it by doubling the recipe and adding regular jam with sugar. What a difference!
A bit of advice for those with THICK chops from Costco/Sam's Club - brown on both sides for 5 minutes, but then also cover the sides for a few minutes each. When you place the chops in the oven for the warming up - wait 5-10 minutes before starting your sauce. The chops will continue to cook and be completely cooked when you are ready for them.
