Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
This was excellent!! I changed a few things due to our liking and ingredients on hand. I grilled 3 chx breasts sprinkled heavily with cajun seasoning on the Forman grill. I sauted 1/2 a green pepper and a TBS of garlic in 2 TBS of butter. After the chx was done I cut it up and placed in pan with the peppers and garlic. I mixed it up and added about 1 1/2 C of heavy cream and 2 TBS of cream cheese to the mixture. I then added salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to taste. Cooked on medium for about 5 minutes and added 2 TBS of flour to thicken. Tossed in the linquine noodles and topped with parmesean cheese. We all LOVED it!! I think the cream cheese really kicked it up a notch!! I make an awesome chx alfredo and my boyfriend said he thinks this was even better than that!! Can't wait to make this again! YUM!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
This is a great recipe. Only changes I made were....left out the sausage, used all ground beef, used a jar of spaghetti sauce, but still added italian seasoning and sugar, also left out the parsley in the ricotta cheese mixture. Simmered sauce for 60 min. Served this with garlic bread with provel cheese. Might be the best lasagna I've ever tasted. It's worth the extra time if you have it.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This is pretty good stuff. I usually cut back on the cream cheese, milk and parm cheese. This sauce thickens alot as it stands. Heats up wonderfully too, not greasy/buttery like other alfredo sauces. I usually add salt and pepper to taste!! Also good for dipping sauce for garlic bread!!

Simple White Cake

This was just ok, nothing spectacular like I expected by reading the other reviews. It was a little dry even after adding extra milk. I would rather have a box cake!

SUPER DELISH!! My boyfriend and I loved this. I cooked crescent rolls almost all the way. Layered refried beans, sour cream, corn, taco meat, and tons of mexican cheese. Baked for another 10 minutes and then topped with Fritos!! It was awesome!! Will be making again very soon!!

Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Only changes I made were used butter instead of margarine. I layered fudge and peanuts on top of cookie crumbs ad froze for about an hour. Then layered ice cream and topped with more peanuts and remaining fudge. Served cool whip on the side as aoptional. I brought this to a BBQ and it was devoured! Tastes like a Peanut Buster Parfait from DQ!! YUMMY! Will be making again very soon!

Grilled Pizza Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
I made these last night for a quick, easy, mess free meal. I cooked them on the George Forman grill and they turned out GREAT! I used a blend of mozzarella and provel cheeses, pepporonnis, italian seasoning and garlic powder. I used PAM on the outside of the tortilla and cooked for about 2 minutes on each side. I didn't have any sauce on hand but will def use some nextime- but they had great flavor w/o it!!

Very good cookie, but WAY too many chocolate chips and I like chocolate. Next time I will reduce to 1 cup and I think they'll be perfect.

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
I'm not a fan of the mushroom soup but my boyfriend is so I wanted to try this recipe. Usually I just use cream of chicken. After I added the mushroom soup I felt like it ruined the flavor so I did everything I could to hide it. I used every last drop of cream of chicken, added lots of onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I also added about 3/4 cup of chicken stock b/c I wanted to keep a more creamy base. I boiled 3 large handfulls of dry egg noodles and baked all together on 350 for 30 min. After all....my bf said it was the best he's every had. Served with cheese garlic bread. . .turned out to be a pretty good meal.
