Country-Style Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
These were fantastic! I omitted the cloves and allspice because I didnt have them on hand. The taste and tenderness was perfect. This is my new favorite recipe for country style ribs.

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2003
My family loves this recipe. It puffs up to amazing heights. I omit the nutmeg, and I add cinnamon. I usually double the recipe, and use two 9 in round cake pans, and it works just fine. Today I used muffin tins to make mini dutch babies. The trick for the recipe to rise well is to have the oven and the pan piping hot.

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
This was my first time making a lentil soup, so I was unsure how my family would like it. It was great! SO thick and savory. I added a cup of cooked cubed ham, and I think that it added alot of flavor to the soup. I will make again!

Fantastic! Time consuming to make, and it made quite a mess in my kitchen, but its a nice change from the normal lasagna, not to mention the taste is wonderful.

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
Fantastic! I followed the instructions exactly, except I used a 12 inch pizza stone to cook it on. I took out 1 and a half cups of batter as other reviewers mentioned, and it worked out great! My SO said it was the best tasting cookie hes ever tasted.

Kisses Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
Surprisingly enough, the adults liked this pie, but the kids did not. Very rich, and You can taste the cream cheese in the filling. I might add less cream cheese next time, or more peanut butter.

Baked Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
I followed other reviewers suggestions-more spices, more pumpkin, etc, and I was unhappy with the results. I had to throw the loaf out. I will make this again, following the recipe, and see if I find it more favorable.

Mama Bear's Porridge

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
Really good oatmeal. Its so thick and creamy. I left the pot on the stove while adding the eggs to ensure that they were fully cooked. Kids loved it, and I will make again.

T Bird's Beef Jerky

Reviewed: May 23, 2003
Great recipe! I trimmed all visible fat before cooking, and I also added 1 Tbsp of brown sugar to the marinade. Next time I make it, I will make sure to cut the meat as thin as possible.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: May 20, 2003
Fantastic muffins! I used vegetable oil rather than olive, and I added nutmeg to the batter. The cream cheese mixture didnt sink, it made a nice little cream cheese layer at the top. Delicious, I'll make these again for sure.

Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: May 10, 2003
This was the first time I made a stew and it was great. I followed other reviewers and mixed a bowl of equal parts water and cornstarch, and added it without removing the meat. I also used 2lbs meat, and used canned corn. My husband and toddler both loved it!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2002
The quickest and easiest fudge I ever made, but VERY sweet. Next time I will either use chunky peanut butter, or add my own nuts, and also use a little less sugar. Over all, quite good and fool proof.
