Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Excellent recipe and easy. I omittted sage and cut salt in half. Also I sliced the bread, spread butter mixture on one side. I placed them on a cookie sheet butter side up and toasted in oven preheated to 375 to toast the bottoms slightly and then broiled until lighly browned on top. This helped not to have bread soggy as others had described.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

I will never need to look for another chicken noodle soup recipe! Fantastic! Additions made: 1. Added 1 can cream of chicken and herbs soup 2. Used homemade noodles (very easy and saves money) 3. Simmered for several hours to thicken Even better the next day.

Chicken Crunch

Fantastic with great compliments. Only 1 change made. Use Durkee Fried Onions instead of crackers and in my opinion it made the dish. I added them towards the end of the baking time. I also seasoned the chicken with Motreal Steak sSsoning and then grilled to add flavor.

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

A+++++ Fantstic recipe! Every once in a while you come across a recipe that ends up being passed down through the family for generations to come. This is one of those keeper recipes. I used "Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust" recipe from this site. I needed a serving for 8 instead of 6, so I used 8 small Granny Smith apples and it turned out perfect. I added one half teaspoon more cinnamon then recipe called for. Since I used homemade pie crust, I divided my dough into 8 same sized dough balls and rolled them out seperately and then followed the recipe as directed. For me it took about an hour to roll out my pre-made dough, core and peel apples, make sauce and assemble the dumplings. I think a 30 minute prep time is an underestimate. Also, I basted apple dumplings several times throughout the cooking time. Thanks for sharing this fabulous recipe!!!

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

A+++++ This is my go to pie crust recipe from now on! I chilled well and kneeded slightly before rolling out. I used this with the "Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings" from this site. These two recipes will now become a tradition in my family!

Grilled Asian Chicken

This was awesome. I pounded the chicken to about 1/4 of an inch, as someone else had suggested. I also brushed some marinade on yellow, red, and orange peppers and then grilled in a basket on the grill! Yum!!!

Grilled Salmon I

This is an awesome marinade for salmon. My nephew loves it and calls up saying it time for more salmon and he asks if I will cook it for him. I grilled along with some hickory chips and it was to die for.

Yummy Quiche

What an awesome presentation this makes. It truly looked beautiful and was easy to put together. My brother-in-law asked for the recipe. I also made it without the green chilies, but I should have added something else for more flavor. A little bland without the chilis.

Wonderful side dish for my Mother's Day brunch. My only suggestion is to count on this taking longer to thicken than the recipe calls for. Mine took around 50 minutes to thicken, but was well worth the wait!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

A real winner here. I have used the same recipe for years, but decided to try a new one. Wow, sure glad I did. I was worried because the mix seemed a little dry, but they turned out gooey and perfect. My hint would be to do the final mixing with your hands and use hands to place on cookie tray instead of spoon. It stays together better when using hands to drop on cookie sheets. I also only cooked 8 to 9 minutes. My family are not nut lovers, so I left them out and they were perfect. Thanks for this one.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

This was a great change from the old green bean caserole. I addded 1 pound of cooked bacon crumbled and then topped with Durkee Fried Onions omitting the cracker topping. This was fantastic!

Very Fruity Rum Punch

This one will sneak up on ya! All of my bunco friends wanted the recipe! I also used 1/2 light rum and 1/2 coconut rum. I will try freezing next time for a summer slush to have on hand.
