I have always enjoyed cooking from the time I was about 7 and my parents awoke to find me cooking bacon with my arms wrapped in dishtowels to keep the popping grease from burning me. I especially love cooking Mexican & Italian food as well as baking and grilling. Thanksgiving dinner is always a treat and my family loves enchiladas with our own sauce recipe. Lately it has been homemade chicken fried rice from scratch and crab cakes (I went through about 6 or 7 recipes to get to one we like). I finally can flip an egg without breaking the yolk. Some meals aren't all I'd hoped but they've all been edible.
