Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
Used this for years - my oven works best at 425 for 20-25 minutes. I crumple the foil before laying it out on the sheet. Lifts the bacon out of the grease like using a rack. Use a generous enough piece of foil to form a pouring spout on one corner before putting it in the oven. The grease does spatter, so the tip to use foil on top is way better than frequent use of the auto clean button!

Mahi Mahi with Coconut Rice and Mango Salsa

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
Nothing short of superb. Flavors blended beautifully without anything overly predominant. Had to cut the pepper flakes in half for wife's pallet, otherwise by the book. Would serve this to anyone, anytime,

French Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2013
Dragged out the old Frydaddy the wife hasn't used in years. Perfection on the first try! Combined a couple tips from other reviewers to make the process go smooth and easy. Tossed the potatoes in the water and put the bowl in the refrig for about forty minutes and used a salad spinner to save on paper towels. Drained the finished product on a paper towels on top of newspaper. Thank you Lorelei.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
This is really good. Usually go for Gulliver's cream corn, or just settle for the canned. This has the same ingredients as Gulliver's, but the prep is so easy that this is the way I'll do it from now on.

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2013
Absolutely delightful and definitely hearty. Flavors are not real powerful, but they blend nicely. Made the full recipe for the two of us and packaged the rest for the freezer, so I followed a tip and cooked the pasta separately (just enough for two). Do yourself a favor and leave the house for a minute and enjoy the aroma when you come back in!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
This is the way to do it! My 4 lb roast was spot on. 460 for 12, 425 for 8 and 325 for 60. It left a little juice for the gravy and perfect resting time for the Yorkshire Pudding. Who could ask for anything more? Hands down the best I've done.
