Amazing. I like to boil my chicken as if I were making chicken soup, add the veggies (carrots, potatoes and celery) last 15 mins. After it cools strain everything so I have my chicken broth. I also prefer onion powder in my roux to actual onions, found the chopped onions keep getting stuck on my whisk. I only use a top crust, but require 2 as I use an 11-13 glass for baking, so I change the servings to 24 (butter, flour, milk, broth, spices) in order to accommodate my pie. Even if your pie is meant to be much smaller I still think the liquid must be adjusted to prevent dryness. Time consuming recipe but so worth it!
