Two Tone Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
These brownies are very ooey gooey and very tasty. When I made them I made the mistake of swirling the two mixtures together and after they baked they came out all one colour in most parts, but it was impossible to make only one layer like the recipe says. They don't actually look that tasty when they come out of the oven, and they're hard to cut because they're so gooey, but that's what makes them so good!

Peanut Butter Pie XIII

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2003
This peanut butter pie was absolutely delicious and SOOOO easy to make! I made it with a chocolate pie crust, so it's like a massive peanut butter cup! I used crunchy peanut butter, an added bonus, and topped it with whipped cream and toffee bits.....mmmmmmmm good!

Cinnamon Chip Apple Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2003
These cookies are ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. They are nothing short of heavenly. They're delicious and easy to make, and I just love the cinnamon chips. They're hard to find where I live (Canada), so every time I go to the States I pick up a few bags and bake off these cookies. They always disappear fast.

These cookies are excellent, soft and chewy just the way I like them. I make them all the time and they always disappear VERY quickly.

Orange Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2003
This recipe was definitely very easy to make, but I found that it was rather skimpy on the meringue topping as well as the filling. The filling was a bit runny, even though I followed the recipe perfectly. It tasted good though, and everyone seemed to like it, but I have to admit that it was a bit disappointing.

Golden Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2003
These cookies are pretty good, crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I'd recommend adding almond extract though for added flavor, and creaming the butter and sugars before adding the other ingredients. And the recipe only makes 2 dozen cookies, not four like it says, so it's good to double. Overall, these cookies are always a big hit in my house, and they disappear in a flash...but still not the best!

Spring Biscotti

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2003
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...yummy. These biscotti are absolutely fantabulous! I used almond extract instead of the vanilla and didn't put any nuts but they were still divine! And so easy to make! Excellent recipe!

Banana Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2003
These cookies were very disappointing. I made them twice because I thought maybe the first time I did something wrong. They weren't tasty and were cakey and almost like muffins. Nobody ate them.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2002
This is the best bread I've ever tasted in my entire life. Moist with a yummy cinnamon swirl. I put more raisins and cinnamon, to make it more tasty. Eating this bread makes you feel like you're in heaven. May sound wierd, but it tastes especially yummy toasted with peanut butter. Mmmmmmm.
