Karen A's Chocolate Dump Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2002
This cake is so good and very easy. All I had was instant pudding and it still worked. Would probably taste better with non-instant, but my kids and husband ate it all!

Coconut Bon Bons

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
These taste wonderful! They are very sweet so make them smaller. It wouldn't roll into balls so I added more powdered sugar to thicken and put it in the fridge for 1/2 hour and then rolled into balls and refridgerated again until ready to dip! I adorned the top of each one with whole almonds.

The dumplings are good. Not like my Great Grandfathers, But good. Did not taste the sour cream and is a good alternative to shortening or lard. I added two bay leaves to the broth, YUM!!!

This is a good idea but it is way to greasy and cookies slide off. The cookies do taste good .I would not attempt this again.

Chocolate Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This is great! we had relatives over for a game of D&D and the adults as well as the kids could not keep their hands out of the bowl! I agree with th eearlier statement"don't taste this without the chocolate, you will want to eat it all." I cheated and used microwave popcorn! it worked great.

Just Peachy Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2003
Wish I would have read the reviews before making this. This is way too runny.I agree with cutting the juice. It looked like alot of batter,so I divide it by thirds so it would not run over in the oven.Unfortunealty, the bread fell drastically a few minutes after baking.Needs more flour. This did not taste as peachy as I would have liked But I would make again with more flour, less juice.

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
These are WONDERFUL! I used 5 tbsp. of butter. The batter was a little so I added a little half and half to thin it. That was a mistake. They came out raw in the center, just like a lava cake. Too bad I didn't have any ice cream! I put them back in and baked for a long time until they firmed up. These do not taste like traditional brownies, more like what brownies in heaven will taste like(I hope)! DO NOT taste the batter while mixing! It took every ounce of will power I had not to eat the batter. I almost lost. These are way too good. My 3 year old chocoholic son is finishing them off as I type. These are very rich, my 12 year old won't eat them. Defineatly for rich chocolate lovers. I would serve small portions because of the richness. everyone should make these at least once. Thanks for sharing!

This is wonderful! I hate coffee but loved this.I made a few substitution since I did not have instant coffee.I used non dairy creamer in place of the milk and 1/3c brewed coffee for the liquid. It turned out great.I will try the original recipe next time to see if there is a difference.I used this on the black magic cake.Yummy!

This is good! We are on low carb diets so I substituted low carb bread and omitted ketchup. I also lowered the amount of terriaki sauce as it is high in carbs to 1tsp.
