Great as is. I added 1 minced serrano pepper, 1tsp red pepper flake, 1/4tsp salt. Awesome!

Mexican Tinga

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
I could look at this and read reviews and see where things could go wrong. I used about 1/2 Tbls of the chipotles and I am used to very spicy food and that was just the right amount. I also added a 1/4tsp of cinnamon as one reviewer stated and salt and pepper. I also hit it with 1/2 tbls of my own mexican seasoning which I think I used Emerils recipe on FN. After those changes, it was great! This made 6 tingas, not 16. 4oz of chicken per tinga and one ounce of sour cream per. The picture is not a good representation of the actual recipe either but it does give you the general idea and something to look at.

Korean BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2013
Great, nice balance of flavors. I used half the siracha and it had just a nice hint of heat. I also used splenda brown and that worked fine. I marinated boneless chicken thighs in bottled teriyaki (overnight), then grilled them and hit them with the sauce the last couple of minutes and passed the sauce at the table, everyone loved it. One suggestion - you really do not need to make a slurry with the cornstarch/water and add it in. Just stir in the cornstarch with everything else before you put it on the heat and it comes out fine.

Classic She Crab Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
I followed the recipe closely and like one reviewer, even after letting it set a day, it tasted like milk. I had to spruce it up more than a little to pass it off as crab soup.

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Great! I added only 1/2 cup sugar, half the soy sauce, and no ketchup. Also added 1tsp (1 cube) of chicken stock paste to give it some richness. Thanks for the nice base recipe.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: May 2, 2014
This was really good. I found that after preparing it carefully as written the flavor lacked just a little depth so I added 1tsp of beef concentrate (or 1 beef cube) and 1Tbls of soy sauce. I like a smooth sauce so I blended it with an immersion blender for about a minute after cooling. Thanks for sharing

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
Nice flavor. I did change the pepper flake with half the amount cayenne pepper and I used table salt instead of sea salt. Used 2Tbls per 1lb of meat.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
Came out great, thanks. I used 94% turkey and like one reviewer suggested, some worcestershire sauce. I put 1 tsp in the sauce too. I also cut the sauce in half and that was plenty to glaze the loaf.

Aw-some Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
Thank you, this was good. I cut the sugar down to 2T and it was sweet enough. I also used fat free half and half in place of the milk. I'll make this again.

Pork Fried Quinoa

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2012
I like the quinoa idea but what's healthy about salty, nitrite and fat loaded ham? how about a leaner protein like egg whites, turkey breast, or pork loin? And to the reviewer that said it was bland.... ADD MORE SOY SAUCE!!!
