Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
This is an Eastern European recipe and in Romania, these are called sarmales (sounds like tamales) and they are a traditional dish for around the holidays. I uses the juice from a couple of cans of diced tomatoes instead of sauce as it really shouldn't be a saucy meal. I had to laugh at the woman who put spaghetti sauce on it-yuck. Overall it was okay-will tide me over until I get to the family's house for Christmastime. Definitely needs to have some garlic, paprika, and some basil. Also, the way it's usually done is with pickled cabbage leaves in a jar-they are really pliable and easy to use.

Aunt Jules' Balsalmic Chicken with Peppers
Wow this truly is an AMAZING dish! I absolutely loved it. Don't skimp on the garlic part; I believe that's what makes this recipe. Make it exactly as described and it will be great. I steamed the asparagus in my steamer instead of sauteing, then mixed it in. That's personal preference though, it lessens the time to cook the peppers as my wok was already full. Easy, healthy, and I will definitely be eating again. Thanks for sharing!
