What a keeper! Thanks! I did as written ... it turned out delicious ... I did double the sauce though! yummy! And I served it with homemade noodles!

Memphis Rub

Tried the rub yesterday on some beef steaks. I did add cumin, oregano, thyme and chili powder like suggested in another review. I didn't have onion powder so I used 3 teaspoons of onion salt and omitted the salt. I also used a spicy paprika and omitted the cayenne pepper and I omitted the MSG. I will definitely use this rub more often!

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Yummy!!! Definitely a keeper! I used more Asiago cheese and used fresh chicken breast ... cut up, seasoned, fried with the onions till just done, then added the cheese sauce! Delicious! Thanks!

Chicken Chimichangas with Sour Cream Sauce

The meat was really yummy with the seasonings. I don't care for the warm sourcream. Like it cold ... like on Tacos. I served the Chimichangas with lettuce, tomatoes and Salsa.

Chicken Milano

Really good!!! though I did change a few minor things ... I only had sundried tomatoes in oil, (didn't have other ones) ... I added dried basil to the cream sauce and let it cook with it ... I added a squirt of tomato paste to the gravy and more cream towards the end ... then I thickened it a little with flour/water (ofcourse ... got too thin with the extra cream). I also seasoned the chicken breasts with italian seasoning before cooking them. I served them with wide noodles and fresh carrots.

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

This cake turned out pretty good. Though I must say that it is minimal less fluffy as other recipes I have tried. But the taste was good! And I don't understand how some people can have problems with the fluffyness ... if you beat the egg whites til stiff ... it can only turn out fluffy! Ofcourse you have to lift the flour into the egg whites and not stir them under!

We found these OK ... a bit bland, the recipe doesn't even call for salt and pepper, which I definetly added. I also added some chili paste to pep it up some.

We will not make this again ... I thought it sounded really neat, since i like cornbread...but the cornbread was really mushy and it turned out to be one big mushy mass ... sorry.

Spence's Pesto Chicken Pasta

I made this recipe as a salad, turned out really good! I used Fusilli pasta and made the Pesto myself. I browned the chicken breast (whole) in a frying pan and put it in the oven for 15 minutes til done, that made it really juicy. Then I cut it into bite size pieces. I also used less garlic.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

I also, like many others, believe that a tenderloin is not the right choice of meat for a slow cooker recipe. I used a pork roast. It was done in 4 hours and very nice and tender. I thought the root beer would be "the special ingredient" ... but in the end it didn't add much to the taste. When I pulled the pork, I reduced the root beer in a pan. Then added it to the meat and bbq sauce in the slow cooker. Taste was ok, not fantastic. I also added some chili paste to give it some pep, which turned out to be a good idea! I will try a different recipe next time.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Tasty! I added more Parmesan since I didn't have any Romano cheese. I used fresh spinach, and more then it calls for. I also mixed the mozzarella into the dip before heating in the oven. I served it with warm Flatbread (pita bread). Next time I will add more Phili ... mine turned out alittle thick since i added more spinach. Oh ... I also added some chili paste to give it some pep!

Cajun Potato Soup

This is a good recipe ... i used polish sausage and little smokies and added some cajun seasoning to give it some pep. Also used less garlic. I made a big pot for our Christmas party with friends, they all loved it!

Zucchini Spread

Pretty good recipe. I used half cheddar and half monterey jack cheese and served it on saltine crackers as an appetizer. Great way to use up some of those zucchinis that are growing like crazy!
