Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2013
I used one unfrozen banana, because I think two would have been too much. I have a little "Shake N'Take" blender, so I can't fit much in it. It took a while to blend everything together, and it was very thick, maybe add a bit of milk if you had the same problem I had. But when I tried it: D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! Delicious!

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
I made the cookie bars and cooked at 30 minutes and the bottom and edges burned. They burn quickly and I could smell them burning at 15. They didn't taste that oatmeal-y...

Vanilla Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
These taste like regular brownies with the chocolate chips, so if you are not a chocolate fan go for half the chips, and maybe a little more vanilla. My mother really enjoyed them and I am taking them to our church for a picnic. The bottoms and edges didn't burn at all and I would go for about 33-35 minutes.

McCormick® Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
9 minutes or 400 degrees is definitely to much! After reading some reviews about their cookies being burned, I carefully watched the first batch. At 8 minutes, I took them out and they were a little undercooked. So, next batch was put in at 9, but got slightly burned on the bottom. So that last batch was put in at 8 minutes, and half were fine, half were not. I suggest watching your cookies, and turning down the heat!

Creamy Center Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2012
These were quite amazing. Even though it took me 3 hours, ( recommend using a icing bag rather than a plastic bag like me) they were a hit at my friend's sleepover! Even though my dad and I ruined the frosting, it still made a good dipping sauce (we put in the whole amount of milk and half of the other ingredients) and we also dipped pretzel sticks in it! Will definitely make these again!

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2012
It's like a bite-sized piece of heaven! I recommend that you make the cookies by rounded teaspoon like the recipe says, because it's perfectly bite-sized! SO YUMMY!

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
The chicken was quite good, but since my mom doesn't like Parmesan cheese, we melted it over the top of the chicken. The breading didn't adhere well to the meat, but it was still quite good!

Chocolate Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
These were fine without any frosting, but there were a few complications. Somehow, I managed to mistake 3tsb for 1/2 cup of butter! In my opinion it's impossible to cream that much butter with the sugar, but the cupcakes came out great still. I only made about 13 cupcakes though, and the batter was pretty thick.

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
This was quite yummy, and easy to make! But.... the bread crumbs didn't brown on the top, and I did use the Panko and baked at the correct amount of time. But, hey, maybe that's just me! The spices were also a bit much for me, it gave more of a spicy aftertaste, which I didn't enjoy. I suggest you use less spices, maybe even cut one out (Cayenne) if you don't like spicy like me.

Pepped Up Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
This is my new favorite meal! My dad and I make this every other week or so! You can either use provolone (which I suggest) or sprinkle Parmesan on it, but I do both (I like cheese) Great with angel hair pasta in a buttery sauce, or a spaghetti sauce! This is so yummy!!!

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
There was a few problems with the recipe, but there wasn't anything wrong with the actual recipe. We were making half of the recipe, and my father put in the whole amount of milk. So we cooled it in the fridge, heated it up again, and cooled it again overnight. It still didn't thicken, even when putting more sugar in it. But, I brought it to a party anyway, and it made a great dipping! We dipped the cupcakes I made (Cream-Filled Cupcakes) and pretzels, and we ate ourselves sick! So don't throw it away if you mess up!

Cream-Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
I baked them for my friend's 13th birthday party, and they were a huge hit!!! Everyone at least had three or four! The problem was they took me about 3 hours to make them....but I guess practice makes perfect! Only bake these if you have a lot of time, but it's all worth it! To fill the cakes, I cut a small piece out of the cake, squeezed the filling into it (used a Ziploc bag filled with icing, and cut off a corner) and placed the cake back into it's hole. (It's a lot easier than it sounds) Hey, if a 12 year-old can do it, then anyone can!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
They were nice and gooey, but to make the frosting my dad and I had to melt it over a pot of boiling water in a metal bowl, because it was just powder with the butter solid.

Fudge Ripple Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
Brownies were a big hit at my church! It took me 2 hours to complete the recipe, because of cooling and getting things ready, but was so worth it. Frosting was a little too sweet, but I loved the recipe. Don't bother buying frosting when you can make it, it tastes better. Make sure you make the frosting right before you frost the brownies, or it will turn hard, if this happens, add more whipping cream.

Kids' Snack

This sounds a lot like Trail-Mix, but with a twist for kids. my best friend and I made it when she came over (were in Middle School) and it was easy, and since it involved no cooking (the power was out) it was great. We changed the recipe up but we made it to sweet.

Cookie Mold Sugar Cookies

Tasted very doughy. I put tons of flour on my hands and it was still sticking to me. I couldn't mold them with my cookie cutters.

Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
The morsels became stickier and messier than the picture, so it came out more in lumps than like rich silk. But maybe it's me. Looks aren't everything, they tasted delicious.
