Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
This recipe was easy, fast, and delicious. Like others, I added a little cinnamon (about 2 teaspoons) to the mixture. And rather than fill the pie crust with apples, cover with the lattice crust, and THEN pour in the sugar mixture, I mixed the apples and sugar mixture together in a large bowl, and then filled the pie once everything was incorporated. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out beautifully! This is a definite keeper!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
Followed this recipe to the T and the muffins came out perfectly! Moist, delicious, and just the right amount of sweetness! I actually got 12 normal-sized muffins out of this recipe (the more the better!) but I may decrease the amount of crumble topping next time because while baking, a lot of it oozed off the muffin and onto the baking pan instead. It was easy to clean but wasted a good amount of sugar and butter. This recipe is a definite keeper!

Biscotti

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
Easy, fast, and tastes great! I followed other reviewer's advice and used 1/4 tsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp almond extract. I also added sliced almonds to the batter. I recommend checking your biscotti after 20 minutes after the first cooking since they tend to burn easily. 5 minutes on each side for the second cooking came out wonderfully! I also added a chocolate drizzle (1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/4 tsp shortening, microwaved at 30 second intervals until smooth). They look and taste fantastic! Thanks for the recipe!
