About this Cook
I live a very blessed life full of love and happiness. I am married to my soul mate and best friend. We live in a small town on the outskirts of Austin. We enjoy being outside, gardening, cooking, and being with friends and family.
My favorite things to cook
I love to try diffent ethnic dishes. We cook Thai, Italian, and various gormet dishes. The more difficult is for my husband. He is truely wonderful.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking traditions are the ones that we do for the hoildays. We always have a huge crowd of family and friends and make a feast for everyone.
My cooking triumphs
I must say that I baking was my weakness. I am getting much better at it. For the Christmas holidays I bake tons of bread and cookies as wrap them up as gifts.
My cooking tragedies
I really don't have any real tragedies. I did make some crazy pizza dough once that over raised in the fridge and made quite a mess.

McIntire's Lamb Stew
We had it for a St. Patty's Day party and it was awesome although I did change it up a bit. I added 1/2 cup of dry white wine and upped the Irish Whiskey (Jameson). I also used yellow boiler onions instead of cut yellow onion. Everyone loved it and the woody flavor from the whiskey was an interesting touch. We served it with Irish Soda Bread and it was great!
