One Minute Chocolate Icing

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2014
Loved this recipe.. It's a good substitute for ganache.. I used 1/2 cup of milk instead of 1/4. Didn't need to beat the mixture. I actually poured it warm on warm chocolate cake.. it was simple delish & btw.. tasted even better the next day after the flavors married. Thank you!

Cream Puff Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2013
Great recipe.. I just didn't like the shortening (i usually do this recipe using butter but this time decided to give shortening a try). Added just a tad of vanilla to the dough.. scooped into 16 shells, then after cooling filled with chocolate whipped cream, and dipped them all in chocolate mousse. Decorated with chocolate chips and it was great! Everyone loved it.. Thank you !

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
Loved this recipe! It was quick and fool proof. My husband actually liked it alot more than the traditional dough .. This was the perfect dinner after a long day at work... quickly made the dough.. added some ready-made pizza sauce and some leftover chicken & cheese... Yummy! Thanks for the great recipe :D A few tips: 1. Spiced up the dough a bit with a little onion powder, bread crumbs & thyme 2. Greased the pizza pan with a little oil 3. I left it to cook for 25 mins, and it was slightly brown at the bottom.. next time I will bake for 20 mins only.. it's more than enough 4. Didn't pre-bake.. & it was just fine.. P.S. I had left overs 2 days later & it tasted even better!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2013
Loved this recipe! I had only 1 pound of ground beef, so I mixed it with 2 eggs, 1/2 cup skimmed milk, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, crushed one low fat chicken stock cube (instead of using salt), 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 tsps onion powder.. I skipped the ketchup and sugar as I decided to make them in the form of burger patties on the stove. It was extremely delish! This recipe is definitely a keeper.. Thank u :)

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2013
Great recipe! My husband and I really loved it, and we are both very picky when it comes to steak. I didn't have Worcestershire sauce, or balsamic vinegar. Instead I used regular vinegar and used 1tbsp barbeque sauce and 1tbsp steak sauce.. in addition added 1 tsp dijon mustard. Other than that, followed the recipe exactly, and it was perfect. Thank you :)

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
Loved this recipe.. The only slight modification I did was that I used one small packet of bread improver, and i took 2 tablespoons out of the 1/2 cup of sugar to help activate the yeast at the beginning (dissolved the sugar in 1/4 cup of water and 1 cup milk lukewarm, then sprinkled the yeast and left the mixture till it foamed up) other than this used the exact recipe (after yeast foamed up i added all remaining ingredients, the rest of the milk and sugar). It's also worth noting that I used my bread machine on the dough cycle to make the dough rise. Didn't need to knead, the machine took care of that. Great recipe, thank you!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2012
Loved this recipe :) I had several previous trials with my bread machine that were all complete failures! This recipe is simple and very good. I followed it in the exact sequence and it worked very well. Bread was light, fluffy and very tasty :D used honey instead of sugar, all purpose flour instead of the bread flour, and 1.5 tsps salt. Next time I will try adding a tsp of vinegar, as I read once that it helps the bread last longer and doesn't affect the taste. I definitely recommend this recipe :)) Thank you!!

Beef Bulgogi

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
Very good recipe! Follow it as is, and you'll get the perfect taste. I made it like 4 times till now and it never failed! Once I didn't have soy sauce, so I used balsamic vinegar, and used 2 tbsps white sugar + 1/2 tbsp molasses.. tasted really good as well. I definitely recommend :))

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
These brownies were awesome.. some very slight modifications I made: 1. I doubled the recipe, but used 3 eggs instead of 4 eggs 2. Added a small tad of water (not more than 2 tbsps) 3. Mixed batter with wooden spoon, not with hand mixer, to get a fudge-like consistency 4. In the frosting, I followed one of the reviewers recommendations, and halved the amount of powdered sugar + melted the butter. 5. baked in a 9x13 pan, and not for over 30 minutes. overbaking will make these brownies very dry 6. Added some semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter, and my magical secret ingredient with unsweetened cocoa, 1/4 tsp balsamic vinegar :) it works very well with the chocolate taste. DIVINE! Thank you really.. my dad who is a chocolate addict just loved them :)))

Rolled Fondant

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
This is an excellent recipe! I didn't need the whole 8 cups of sugar, used only 6. Excluded the vanilla from the recipe and used almond extract instead. Made my own syrup using 1/4 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar, on medium heat and brought them to a boil, then left to cool. Other than this, followed the exact directions and ingredient quantities in the recipe, and it turned out beautiful. I also used gel colors to color the fondant. Thanks and way to go, really!

GREAT recipe!! This was my first time ever to make homemade pizza, my husband and I really loved the taste of the sauce and the crust! Following the recommendation of some reviewers, I used one 14'' pan rather than 2 12'' pans. THANK YOU!!!

We LOVED this recipe, my husband wished there was more! I didn't have dried onion flaked, so I just fried some in very little olive oil & sweet chili sauce. This recipe definitely deserves a 5, well done ;)
