Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
My family and I love this recipe although I only measured the first time I make sure I add 1 bag of steamed corn, my mouth is already watering. I just add a lot more onion, ham and celery. We like our soup more hearty. Thank you!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
The best ever but I did make a few changes, Instead of the flour mix I brushed the outside of chicken with egg and sprinkled on Progressive Italian bread crumb then fried them with the butter, bouillon, and wine until I saw no pink, after I removed them from the juices and baked them at 350 for 15 minutes to insure theres no pink. I added fresh mushrooms to the wine mixture and drippings. Once cooked I proceeded with the whipping creme and cornstarch. I made this with pesto pasta, grilled asparagus and bread with butter. Picture 146. =)

Herbed Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
It was edible, seemed to lack flavor, my family considered this boring. So we had tons of left overs and just dumped chedder cheese all over it the next night and heated it up. I think we even ended up throwing it away.

No Roll Sugar Cookies

I've never been able to make sugar cookies without burning them, this recipe was easy and they turned out great! Everyone had seconds and my dad ate like 5.

Excellent! I added 1 green bell pepper, 1 can black beans with liquid, small can tomato paste, extra tablespoon chili power, 2 teaspoons of hot paprika, extra teaspoon of of oregano. I simmered for about 4 hours and added the bean before simmering.

Basque Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
This was very sweet, it kinda tasted like Tapioca pudding, my family didn't care for it. We are Spanish Basque, my grandfather came from Ibarranguela so I thought I would try this.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Good breading flavor! I beat the meat forever and it was still tough nor did it have any flavor. Maybe I bought the wrong meat? Need to season the meat. This might be better with chicken.

Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
I made it twice, first time followed directions and it was not really flavorful and super dry. second time only broiled 8 minutes to crispify some crushed potato chips on top, doubled dry mustard, onion, 12 oz American, 3 1/2 cups milk, much better but still prefer kraft blue box, this stuff is just to heavy when home made

Not much flavor, i followed this to the T. Did not really like the taste of the nutmeg, although being that I was very hungry I ate it.
