Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

Fantastic frosting. I used this frosting on my daughters rainbow birthday cupcakes, and she kept calling the frosting ice cream (she is two). I will be making this again.

It looked beautiful, but I personally did not like the flavor. Greasy tasting (created film on the roof of my mouth) and was greasy feeling when I was cleaning up (lots of soap needed). I tried another buttercream recipe with butter and was more satisfied. Just not for me.

Beer Bread I

I thought this had a great taste and went well with the soup I made. It did have the consistency of corn bread therefore was not very firm and would fall apart. My husband thought it was a bit sweet (perhaps the beer I used: New Glarus Spotted Cow, and the amount of sugar) - next time I would like to try a dark beer and lessen the sugar a bit and see how that turns out.

Baby Doe's Cheese Soup with Beer

YUM!! My husband and I often go to a local restaurant just for their beer cheese soup. This recipe was very close...just had a bit more spice. Next time I will try using a little more corn starch to thinken the soup up. Will make again!!!

Caramel Popcorn

I will be using this recipe in gifts this Christmas. I was a bit nervous before I started since I have not had very much success with candy type recipes in the past, but this was extremely easy and VERY good!!! Thank you!!

Hot Chocolate Mix II

After taste testing several hot chocolate mixes this recipe won! It was not too chocolately and not too bland (which was the problem with other recipes). A keeper!

Four Spice Crackles

Wonderful cookie! Full of flavor and jusst the right amount of crispyness. Everyone enjoyed them at our Christmas get together. We have not even finished eating the first batch I made, and I am getting ready to make more! Yum!

Strawberry Bread

Very tasty bread. It is a sweet, but not too sweet bread. A great recipe with lots of flavor that you do not have to put jelly/jam or butter on it...I just eat it by itself! I've made it several times for my family and co-workers. Everyone really enjoys it.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Yum, Yum, Yum!!!! So good! I've been looking for a bread recipe with some real flavor to it, and I have found it! The bread is so moist and full of pumpkin flavor, everyone loved it! I am planning on giving it away as Christmas presents. Thank you!!!
