Scottish Mince Pie

We loved this version of a popular meal. I used Bisto (tm) instead of beef boulion cubes or powder. Made a nice thick gravy. Will use this recipe over and over.

I did the modified version of this recipe with just a mix of cheddar and cream cheese in the center with the bacon wrap on the outside. So popular that I have had to give this recipe out many times to friends.

Three Cheese Noodle Bake

Lemon Pudding Cookies

These cookies were pretty good - very very fast to make if you are in a hurry. My batch disappeared just as fast as they were made - would suggest adding a sugar coating to the top just before baking to help give them some texture.

Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls

So yummy! It took me much longer than the estimated time, but was worth it in the end. We don't use buttermilk, so I made my own with 2% milk and cream of tartar - it worked like a charm!

Garlic Ranch Chicken

This is one of the best recipes I have come across in a long time! Is really easy to make, either the night before (marinade) or even just a half hour before...and tastes great each time we make it - everyone loves this one!

Brownies III

Not as good as I had hoped. These were very cake like and had very little flavour. I would strongly recommend using chocolate in this recipe to make them taste more like actual brownies.

Cinnamon Teacake

Very easy and tasty! Only problem I had was figuring out what self-rising flour was. I only had all-purpose, so I added in some salt and baking powder. Worked out fine in the end!
