I left out the ham and used Portabella mushrooms. My family loved it!

Country Seed Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2002
This bread comes out perfect every time. I make the dough in my bread machine and then bake it in a long loaf on my baking stone. Really tasty with an excellent texture. Pretty enough to give away!

Cranberry Orange Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2004
I made this recipe as is except for the orange zest - didn't have any. It is absolutely delicious with a wonderfully dense texture. The sweetness makes is very satisfying for breakfast or a snack.

Pumpkin Pancakes

These are delicious - light and not too pumpkin-y. It is definitely worth making the syrup as it compliments the pancakes.

Black Bean and Rice Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2007
I tried this because I love both the taste and health benefits of black beans. I didn't have picante sauce so I added a little salsa to the bean mixture and it worked great. I needed more tortillas to use the filling.

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
I just put these in the oven and while I haven't tasted yet, they look delicious. I wanted to say that if you use the small frozen pie crusts, 2 won't hold all the filling. I used 2 refridgerated crusts and my ceramic pie plates and it made 2 beautiful looking quiches.

Egg Free Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
I needed another batch of cookies for an event and had a half can of pumpkin to use up so decided to try this recipe cut in half. They did not flatten as shown in the photo but I liked the cakey texture. I was concerned about so many reviews saying they were bland, so I added 1/2 t. salt and the chocolate chips. Glad I did as I think they would be nothing special without the chocolate or a lot of extra spices.

Easy Ice Cream Sammies

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I didn't think this was anything special and would not make again. Fortunately, I cut the water by 1/2 cup or I would have had one huge cookie on the pan because they would have spread too much. I didn't care for the artificial cake mix taste either though I used DH. Very mushy after being in the freezer.

Chicken Fajita Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This was quite tasty and even my "vanilla" husband liked it :) I think I would prefer to leave off the salsa and substitute fresh chopped tomatoes or well-drained petite diced canned tomatoes. I also followed the suggestion of using a Mexican cheese blend.

Turkey Breast with Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I fully intended to make the slow cooker turkey breast recipe on this web site but when I pulled out my crock pot and the turkey breast, there was no way it was going to fit! So I made this recipe instead. So glad I did because it was delicious and moist! After about an hour of cooking, I realized there were no juices to baste with so I added 2 cups of water to the bottom of the pan and basted several times. I then followed the gravy directions and added all the liquid from the pan (strained) to the gravy. Really tasty!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
I made this for my daughter's Mexican themed engagement party. The "kids" seemed to like it (or else they were just being nice!) but for me it was a bit mushy moist.
