Strawberry Pina Colada Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
It was yummy, especially with the changes I made. I used coconut pudding mix, instead of vanilla. I also cut the strawberries up and mixed them into the main pie. I am not using Cool Whip due to the unhealthy ingredients - so I used fresh whipped cream. Thus delicioso!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2012
Made these for Thanksgiving this year. Looked at the original recipe and then looked at the reviews, and then started baking. Used the ginger snap crust someone recommended and then made one filling batch without the pumpkin and put in crust and then made another batch adding the pumpkin to it. Then baking for about an hour plus. Magnificot! My family loved it! Thanks for the recipe.

Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2014
Made this recipe tonight. I was looking for a recipe for leftover turkey that didn't use any of the Cream of soups. I used a bag of mixed veggies as others have stated and put in some Poultry Seasoning. My family really liked it. The only thought was that there was too much pepper in it. I call this a Keeper Recipe - just would use less pepper and some Poultry Seasoning next time.

Grandma's Chocolate Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Good flavor. After tasting it, found it to taste much like my mother's sheet cake, so decided to add the frosting that would be on her sheet cake. My family loved it with the frosting.

Easy Dinner Hash

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
I have made a similar dish that our family calls Stovetop Casserole. It usually include any leftover in the fridge. The meat could be sausage, hamburger or turkey burger. Then it could be rice or potatoes, whatever is there, and then whatever veggie, though I will cook up the mixed veggies if I don't have enough of them. I always start with onion, garlic and peppers. And the spices could be whatever I fancy. Though my hand usually grabs one of Mrs. Dash's seasoning - either the garlic or onion blend. And maybe some basil or oregano. Just depends. We all love it.

Garlic Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
I make a similar sauce homemade that is always better than jar sauce. It is butter (@1/3 c.) in a saucepan melted and then adding chopped garlic and saute for a little bit, and then adding the parmesan (I use enough to absorb the butter). I spread this on the crust and then put leftover chicken and cooked broccoli on top of the sauce and then add the mozzarella, with some parmesan sprinkled on top. This is my family's favorite pizza and one we make often.
