Slow Cooker Lasagna
My husband and I love this recipe. I am a terrible cook so I like recipes that are easy. My husband is Italian and he loves this recipe so I am confident that it is a good recipe at least it is for my house. I made some changes but it was a personal preference. I add ricotta cheese as well as the cottage cheese. And I add a little more spices for flavor (powdered garlic and onion, oregano, sea salt and basil. I also add diced tomatoes and a half cup of red wine to the sauce (my husband's recommendation) in addition to the tomato sauce and it gives it a nice flavor and turns out wonderful. I cook it for 6 hours and when the timer is up the lasagna is done and it tastes yummy. I do not have a problem with the lack of water; however, I add the diced tomatoes and wine so they provide extra liquid. I am sad to see others do not care for this recipe- I love it. I like cooking it in the slow cooker because it doesn't heat up the entire house like the oven does. Thank you very much for sharing this treasure with us!

Mexican Pork Chops
My husband and I love this recipe! I made slight changes. In addition to the original veggies, I added black beans. I used diced tomatoes instead of stewed (a salsa style tomato). I also diced the pork and sprinkled it with some spices; paprika, coriander or cilantro (whatever is available), garlic, cumin, onion powder, coarse sea salt, seasoning salt and red pepper then browned it in a skillet. I don't usually measure. I add things and taste it to see how it is. I would guess that I used about a teaspoon of each spice. I added a layer of cheddar cheese over the mixture and threw it in the oven as directed. This is a great recipe idea. Thank you for sharing it!

Baked Pork Chops I
I really love this recipe although I have changed some things. I do not bread the pork chops. I sprinkle them with all season and brown them on both sides so they are basically cooked, and place them in the pan. In addition to the cream of mushroom soup I also add a small can of cream of celery soup. In the soup mixture I use moscoto wine (I use the singles because I do not drink wine and that is a perfect measurement so no leftovers) I added some more spices to the recipe, 2 teaspoons or so of thyme, parsley, garlic, course sea salt and course black pepper. Also I added a tablespoon of dried spring onions. I add the mixture to the pan, poor it over the pork chops and bake it for 35-45 mins. I serve it over brown rice and poor the mixture over the rice. It is delicious. I am very thankful for your recipe. I would have never thought of it on my own. I am an experimenter though. My husband gets annoyed but only when I fail! Thanks again for you recipe!
