I never rate recipes, but I had to rate this one. I can NOT explain how scrumptous this recipe is. I made it exactly like the recipe called for but then read the reviews. After thinking about it, I wished I had of used chicken broth instead of water. Since I'd already put the water in I decided to add 3 cubes of chicken boullion. Other than that, all I did was add ground black pepper and salt. When it came to the dumplings, all that was left at the store yesterday(Thanksgiving shopping) was a HEB brand buttered flavor biscuist, the same size as Grands. I added just one can, after I rolled them out and cut them in strips with a pizza cutter(someone else's idea), and I put them in for the last hour. It was awesome! Thanks so much for posting!!!!!!
