Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
Excellent recipe! I made them for a Father's Day BBQ. I washed the potatoes and flavored the outside with sea salt and garlic powder and every bite of the potato was yummy.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
I made these shrimp kabobs for a BBQ on Father's Day and I cooked them over charcoal and wood chips. They were very flavorful and went over well. I marinated them about an hour and a half and my personal opinion is the only one I can really go by but next time I think I will only toss them in the marinade and maybe use it to baste them if needed but I thought it made the shrimp a little mushy. I am going to try it again and see if that was the problem cause I really liked the flavor.

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
I made these on the grill using charcoal and wood chips for Father's Day and everyone loved them. I used strip steak and marinated them over night. I cooked the vegetables on seperate skewers because I was afraid of the consistency of doneness between the meat and the vegetables. The flavor was excellent and some of my guest like their steak well done which my fanily is not used to and I tasted the well done ones and they still tasted great and not tough. I will use this marinade the next time I make a steak.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
I cooked these on the grill using charcoal and wood chips for Father's Day and they were enjoyable. I did cook the vegetables on a seperate scewer because I was worried about uneven cooking between the meat and the vegetables. I marinated the chicken over night and the flavor was nice. My only problem was the consistency between the bacon and the chicken getting done, maybe my bacon slices were too big. I used thinner slices of bacon but it overlapped when I wrapped it and I felt like some of the chicken was too done but the bacon was still somewhat flimsy. So I suggest using smaller pieces of bacon and not wrapping it all the way around. I also made some without the bacon and those went over well too.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

Reviewed: May 20, 2011
I guess I'm one of the odd girls out. I did't care for these at all. I like spicy but I didn't care for the spices in this recipe. I would leave out the mustard and cajun spice just because it didn't give it a good taste. I was so excited to make them because I'm having a spaghetti and meatball dinner for about 30 people for my husbands birthday and I wanted to make a good impression. I'm glad I tried the recipe first. I baked them on 350 for about 40 minutes and that turned out okay.
