Chewy Drizzled Cinnamon Chips Cookies

Suggest microwaving morsels at a lower power to prevent chips from burning. Cookies tend to spread quite a bit so need lots of space on the cookie sheet. Difficult to tell when "done". A delicious, crisp cookie. Next time will grind pecans to a finer texture.

Raspberry Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

OH MY GOSH!!! If you only make a single recipe, you better hide these fabulous confections. These are one of the best cookies ever. Don't change a thing, the recipe is perfect as is. Need to allow for some spreading room on the baking sheet. Used all-fruit (seedless) instead of jam.

Thin Mint Cookies

My family went crazy over these delights. After freezing, I sliced dough on my electric food slicer to achieve perfect,consistent thickness.Instead of drizzling chocolate, I dipped cookie,face down, into chocolate melted in top of double boiler,(had to triple the recipe to have enough)Cookies are firm enough to handle with tongs. End result is near perfect match to Girl Scout version, only better.Well worth the time. Chocolate lover's dream! Keep refrigerated.

German Apple Cake II

If you like carrot cake, you'll love this rich and moist apple cake. The nuts give it a crunchy texture, the frosting is creamy and not too sweet. Make it for large gatherings and cut the pieces smaller, a little goes a long way. Be sure and refrigerate left overs.

Danish Pastry Apple Bars

Yummm! My picky eater asked for seconds! Used heavy cream in place of milk for pastry, rolled between plastic wrap for easy handling. Will sprinkle top crust with white sugar next time.10 apples? what size? Used 8 cups thinly sliced Washington Gravestines,fresh off the tree.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent cookie!Used parchment paper rather than greased pan. Added Dutch chocolate sprinkles. Dough is a little sticky and is easier to handle when chilled. Cookie stays moist and doesn't spread while baking.Increased banana to 1-1/2 cups and flavor is still subtle.Decreased baking powder to 1 tsp.Used 1/2 white, 1/2 brown sugar.My family loved the results!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Pie

Very rich dessert! The kids loved it and didn't mind the fact that I couldn't get it out of the pan. Used Chocolate flavored sweetened condensed milk.
