Oven-Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
OH MY GOODNESS- this was wonderful! I am not a veggie person... but I could eat this all the time! I didn't use the red pepper or the asparagus to cut down on the price and it was fantastic! I also sprinkled a little garlic powder on top of the veggies. I will be making this over and over and over. Very easy, quick, and yummy!

Amy's Barbecue Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
Excellent! I used a bag of lettuce to make things easier. I also left off the Fried Onions to make it a little bit healthier. Next time I will add some crunched up tortilla chips for some "crunch". I also added some red onion and cheese. I used fat free ranch dressing and I couldn't tell once it was mixed with the barbeque sauce. This makes a great and easy lunch!

Tim's Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
Fantastic! What a really nice twist to green beans. I did make modifications to the recipe. I used 2 bags of frozen green beans becuase I like the taste better than canned. Also, I added 1 samll minced onion to the sour cream paste. I also added bacon to the green beans... and salt! I used fried onions to top it. Make sure that you get a good swiss cheese so that you can taste the flavor. It was a little soggy the next day but the flavor was even better!

Baked Pineapple

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
VERY GOOD! I was worried about the combination and my husband almost didn't try it... but boy was he glad when he did! I persoanlly thought that a little of this went a long way due to the sweetness. I had over half as left overs when I served it to 4 people. But that was great becuase it tasted even better the next day.

Grandma's Corn Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
Excellent! Even better the next day. I followed it exactly and it came out perfect. I will not be having "plain" corn again for holiday meals.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2003
This sauce is the best thing I have ever tasted! Expensive and time consuiming- but rather easy and worth every penny and minute! I followed the suggestion and made the sauce the day before. This really helps in cutting prep time the day you plan to serve the meal. I almost followed the recipe exaclty. I chopped up my shallots before roasting them. I also followed the suggestion to puree the sauce. This did NOT turn out like I expected. I pureed about 1/2 of it and then mixed it with the original. It still taseted delicious... but it lost its beautiful apprearnce. It ended up looking like baby mush to me. I ended up making another 1/2 batch of the liquid to add into the "mush". It made it look a little bit better. the only "bad" thing about his recipe is that now I am going to want all of my meat to taste this way!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
I don't know what makes this so good, but this is the best chicken parmesan that I have ever had. I followed the recipe and had wonderful results. I didn't use the monteray jack but rather mozzarella out of personal prefrence.

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
Fantastic! I have made this recipe a few times and LOVE it. In fact, my whole family loves this. I omit the ham out of personal choice and think it turns out great. I do use extra chedar cheese (extra sharp) and cut back on the mozzarella. The other thing that I add are sauted oninons to the sauce. Over all this is one of my favorites and definitely a keeper!

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
I took the suggestions of others and added other seasonings... both to my chicken and to my bread crumbs. They turned out good but not outstanding. To me it seemed like any other breaded chicken recipes.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
While these were good, I wouldn't consider these to be outstanding. They seemed a little bland to me. I doctored them up with some other seasonings but still wish they had come out with a stronger flavor. I will try these again and add more mustard. I did follow the suggestions of others and cut them up smaller than directed. I had no trouble with cooking time and tenderness.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2003
Wonderful recipe! This was my first attempt at trying to make cabbage rolls and these turned out fantastic. I boiled my cabbage for a few mins. before I put in the meat mxture. I was able to peal off the leaves without them ripping. As per the other suggestions, I doubled the sauce so it would cover the rolls in the cooker. I will be making this again very soon. In fact, my husband asked if we could have it again the next night!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2003
This was fantastic! It also looked as good as it tasted. It wasn't the quickest meal to prepare but it was definitely worth it. I used the bacon grease to saute my mushrooms and I didn't really notice a difference in taste. I will make this over and over and over again.

Texas Hash

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2003
This was a wonderful meal that both my husband and I really enjoyed. We don't like tomatoes so we left them out and added more corn than what the recipe called for. The only thing I will change next time is not to use the processed cheese. I didn't care for that flavor. Next time I will try cheddar.

Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2002
Excellent dish! I tasted somthing like this at a local high scale restaurant and this was just as good. I added chopped up apple to it (like in the restaurant)! I think this gave it an extra good kick! It complimented the chicken and grapes perfectly. My husband ate all the left overs when I wasn't looking. Will make this again soon!

I thought this turned out great! I don't like hot things so I left out the peppers and loved it. Will make this again for sure.
