Chicken Adobo II

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
Excellent recipe. I modified by browning the chicken first and I used an entire head of garlic. Simple and the family loved it. The family pack of chicken thighs was gobbled up. That is 3 per family member! 10 thumbs up from my family.

Fluffy Biscuits

Excellent! I made these with butter and had no egg, but they still were light fluffy and delicious. The whole family enjoyed these with sausage gravy. I should have made a double batch,

Oriental Sesame Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
Excellent recipe! I admit I was sceptical, but it is delish. I used Tahini (no sesame oil) and added toasted almonds, knock your socks off good. The problem is waiting for dinner to scarf it down. The family may not get to taste this after all.

Moroccan Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
This was really good. My hubby thought there was too much cinnamon and not enough garlic but the rest of us loved it. I left out the raisins because we didn't have any but it didn't need it. My 2 year old (picky!) gave two thumbs up and an empty bowl. It did need more liquid so I added canned tomatoes.

Absolutely divine! My changes: 1/4 cup butter and 1 cup cream. I am making this again today with rare tuna as an appetizer .

Cuban Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
Wow this was a huge hit from 3 to 42 years old. I did add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper. I suggest making Mojo as a condiment. One onion, 5 cloves of garlic, juice and zest from one lemon, 1 teaspoon cumin all put in the food processor until smooth.

Lace Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
Although the flavor was great, the consistency is not right. I ended up with a buttery mess that ran all together when baked even though I only made 4 per cookie sheet. I ended up breaking it apart and using it to top ice cream.
