All American Apple Pie
I thought the taste was pretty good. I was looking for a apple pie to make that only took a bottom crust. I did add a bit more flour to make the topping crumbly and it took a bit longer than the 45 minutes to cook. At first I thought it was not going to be very good as when I cut into it the pie was still warm and the bottom crust was a little soggy. The next morning I looked at it and it was held together nicely and the taste reminded me of the apple pies my grandmother used to make. This is a pie I will make again if I do not have the time to make my own pie crust or if I dont' feel like making it that day. Thanks for the recipe.

Hard Rock Candy
I had made this when I was a kid, but until a few days ago I hadn't even thought about it. I made peppermint flavor and coconut. Both turned out to be quite tasty. My kids both loved it as well as their teachers. When I made this when I was a kid my granny and I did it the old fashion way without a candy thermometer, but I find it much easier with the candy thermometer. Thanks for the recipe!!!
