This was very good. Didn't have fresh lemons on hand but very good nonetheless. Great soup to compliment a nice salad or sandwich!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
I thought this was sensational! I did not have white wine on hand but it still turned out delicious. I was short on time so I only baked the chops for 30 minutes before adding the soup and milk and then baked an addt'l 30 minutes. Great dinner!

Wow, these were good and very simple to make. I used 1 cup of brown sugar instead of white and topped with blueberry pie filling. Oh boy, were they good!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2005
I absolutely LOVED this asparagus! I drizzled with olive oil as previously mentioned. Since I'm not a big soy sauce fan, I only used 1/2 tbsp of soy but increased the balsamic to 1/2 tbsp. I might even just try butter and balsamic the next time. Great side dish!

Better Slow Cooker Robust Chicken

Reviewed: May 26, 2005
I was so excited to make this recipe but turned out to be disappointed with the results. The sauce tastes as though it would best compliment beef rather than chicken, but I guess that's my personal preference. The chicken also turned out pretty dry considering it was in the slow cooker for 6 hours.

Cranberry Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2004
I don't know what it was but I just wasn't happy with these. I followed all directions carefully and they turned out very mushy. I could hardly cut them into squares.

Peppermint Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2004
These were very good. The only change I would make is cutting down the extra crushed peppermint on the top. But overall a great dessert.

Jubilees

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2004
I have to agree with the previous rating ~ I carefully went through each step and found the cookies to spread out much too wide on the cookie sheet. They didn't look like the jam thumbprints I am used to, but tasted okay.

This cake was so moist, so delicious, and so very simple to make. I used vanilla cake mix since I was not able to find the orange and I think it turned out just perfect! I will most definitely be making this refreshing treat a lot during the summer.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: May 18, 2003
This was really good ~ I added 1/4 tsp curry, 1/2 cup of sour cream and more cheese. Very yummy. It was a tad runny so I think I'll use less milk next time around. Definitely a keeper!

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 5, 2003
All I can say is WOW! Who would have thought a sandwich could taste so different using the oven? They were great ~ as mentioned previously, the outside comes out super crispy and the cheese inside is just perfect. I used two slices of cheese and baked both sides at 425 for 6 minutes and they were wonderful!
