Oven-Roasted Asparagus
This dish was very, very good. I tossed everything together except garlic and parmesan, placed it on the cookie sheet, then topped it with the garlic and parmesan. Baked 10 minutes, was nice and crisp still. We had it two nights in a row, we enjoyed it that much.

Pistachio Cream Pie
We always made this pie with chocolate pudding. No cherries or pistachios---top with nuts and/or chocolate curls. We sometimes double the cream cheese mixture. This is a dessert you just stand in the kitchen and eat it out of the dish with a spoon. A crowd gathers, and everyone has a spoon, devouring the dessert like vultures!

Aunt Bill's Brown Candy
Now that I have wiped the tears away from laughing, I can type. You see, I thought this was an old "secret" family recipe. One that my mother gave to me before she died. I nearly died when I saw that my family's "secret recipe" is all over the world!!! This candy is beyond compare. I love it so much. I found a company in Austin, Texas, called " Lammes Candies " that makes this candy (or close). It, too, is divine and will suffice as a substitute if you can't make your own. When I get to heaven, I am going to have to remember to tell my mama about this.
