Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I became addicted to this over the summer and made it about 4 times in a row! Yummy stuff. I need to grease AND flour the pans well for it to come out clean.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
Really good! I used one pint of fresh blueberries and one thing of raspberries, halved the topping and used a 9 in square pan.

Chicken and Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
Made this with 2 cups of pasta and it needed more sauce. I doubled the sauce, but that was too much. Maybe try with two cans mushroom soup but not as much milk?

Turkey Pot Pie I

Pretty good - maybe use more turkey than the recipe calls for?

Too much curry. Otherwise, not bad.

Can't taste the mocha too much, but these were great!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2007
Doug would have liked it with more "kick" and creamy, but I loved it just the way it was. I doubled the recipe, and used only 4 cans of chicken broth so it would fit in the crock pot.

Fried Rice with Cilantro

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2007
Very good rice! Important note: the rice measurement should be for UNCOOKED rice, not cooked rice. I made this recipe measuring out 2 cups cooked rice and it was very oily. Use 2 cups uncooked rice to get the proper consistancy. I doubled this to freeze for OAMC and it is great!

Easy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
Not great. I agree with other comments of not enough egg and way too much cinnamon. I used Texas Toast and it still didn't turn out great.

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I needed a full 9x13 pan to fit 2 lbs of potatoes. Other than that, this recipe is FANTASTIC!

Smoked Sausage in Mushroom Wine Gravy

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
This was quick, easy and yummy. I used turkey smoked sausage and skipped the mushrooms. I used it as a sauce over cheese tortellini.

Gnocchi with Sage-Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
I cut the recipe in half and used 1 (16 oz) package of gnocchi. It fed my husband and I and two small portions for my toddlers.

Angel's Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I followed the recipe, except used one 14.5 oz can of drained, diced tomatoes instead of the fresh tomatoes. It was great! I'd say it feeds 4 rather than 6. We tried one serving with parmesan cheese, but it didn't taste as "fresh" as with the mozzarella.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
I've had better. I followed the suggestion of adding a cup of zucchini and the topping. The bread took much longer to cook through and the topping suggested made WAY too much. Won't make again.

Made with other reviewer's mods: 2 egg whites, 1 T. vanilla instead of water, and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Yum!

Ricotta Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
Could be a 4 star recipe, with less pepper. We liked it! We used small curd cottage cheese instead of ricotta.

These were DELICIOUS! I omitted the walnuts and baked for 27 minutes. It's hard not to eat the entire pan full!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

This is just like the Pampered Chef recipe. I used green pepper instead of red and no dill or almonds, but it was still fabulous!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
I used 3/4 cup sour cream instead of yogurt, and it worked out great. I also made jumbo muffins with this recipe and increased baking time to 27 minutes. The chunks of banana left in the muffins is gooey and delicious!
