Jalapeno Bread I

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Be sure to use fresh peppers (not the jarred variety) and instead of shredding the cheese, put the cheese in during the last half of kneading and use cubes of cheese. The cheese does not seem to disappear into the bread if you do it this way. Good bread!

Cocktail Meatballs I

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
This is a great recipe. I don't fry the meatballs. I just put them on a pan and cook them in the oven. Then I turn them out into a slow cooker with the sauce ingredients, and cook for a about an hour on low. They are always one of the first things to run out on the buffet.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Not exactly what I thought it would be. Too cheesy, I don't know, just not the flavor it should be.

Granola

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
We eat granola almost every day. This recipe is great, and low in refined sugar. We do not care for dates, so I substitute "Craisins" dried cranberries. This has become the standard for granola in our house. My teenage daughter takes a baggie of this everyday to high school. Her friends squeal with delight when she brings "That oatmeal stuff" to share! Thanks for a great, healthy recipe!

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Awesome over rice or noodles. It's become some of my favorite easy comfort food. I sometimes add some frozen vegs to make it a balanced meal.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
This recipe was good. My family enjoyed it. I added extra garlic and extra Italian seasoning for more flavor. It was excellent for leftovers at lunch the next day. Served it with crunchy garlic bread and a salad.

Angel Biscuits II

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
This recipe is sooooo good! Follow the advice of previous reviewers and place your biscuits close together on the pan to rise. My husband has been requesting these often. He can hardly wait for them to rise and bake. My kids have used a whole bottle of honey eating them with butter and honey. Ummmmm! Thanks you for the excellent recipe!

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2006
I doubled the recipe so I could share with my diabetic mom. I used half sugar and half Splenda. Very good muffins for the calories. I still think banana breads should have nuts...but the calories/fat. I'll will make this recipe again with nuts. Thanks for submitting this recipe. My whole family enjoyed them.
