Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
I had a really hard time not just grabbing the bowl of cookie dough and eating with a spoon. Turns out the cookies were really good when they were baked too! However, I did follow a couple of the other reviews - extra 1/4 of butter, extra 1/2 cup of flour and reduce temp to 350 F

Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2011
These were really good when they were finished. However, getting them ready the make shapes with was really difficult. The dough was really crumbly, even after I froze it. I had to constantly repack the dough in order to get a decent shape.

Yuuuuummmmm....My first attempt at red velvet. I was a little concerned at how lumpy it seems at one point, but everything works out in the end!

Crazy Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
I have been searching for this recipe for a long time! My mom use to make cake this way all the time, but had lost the recipe. I remember how tastey and fully it was. One of the other benefits to this recipe (besides growing up with it), is that it is also Vegan. No eggs, or milk! My brother is Vegan, so I can make this for him as well! Thank you for posting!

Curried Salmon Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Pretty good, however, curry was a staple in my house growing up, so I made a few changes; some chopped cilentro, a bay leaf in the sauce, salt to taste, cubed potatoes, minced habenaro, and garlic. I served it over rice with stuffed mushrooms, and it was gone in no time.

Baked Salmon II

My husband is hard to please and he loved this! As per another review, I added some dill and some butter and cut the amount of oil by half. Will definately make again, thanks!

Barbequed Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
I was short and time and was looking for something that didn't require marinating for hours. This was quick, easy, tastey.

Juicy Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
Mmmmm....Such a gooooood steak! I made a few changes, because I lacked supplies. I subbed onion salt for half a chopped onion, subbed the rootbeer for coke, and subbed the teryaki for soya sauce. And it still turned out delicous. Oh, and I also sprinkled a bit of steak spice, just cause we prefer a bit more peppery taste. It was so juicy and tender! Will definately use again!

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
Yum. I would say there was too much sauce, but I used the excess on my rice. Next time I won't be using mayo, but the yogurt as everyone's suggestions. Not only is it fatty but I find after you're halfway through, you get a little sick of the mayo taste. I also rubbed minced garlic, salt and pepper on the fish first, and mixed 1 tsp of dill in with the sauce, and then the other tsp on top.

Grilled Onion Potatoes

Surprisingly good! I did add butter and garlic, and microwaved them for a minute each first. I also added diced green pepper. Next time I think I'll added a red pepper.

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
These were really good. I changed a few things though; instead of heating them in a skillet, I boiled them for about 20 mins first. You can eliminate a lot of gresy fat that way. then I baked them for 25 mins to brown them. Then added the sauce and made as directed. Tastey!

Cinnamon Mocha Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
Pretty good. Nice and moist. Like others, I found there wasn't enough coffee/cinnamon taste to it, so next time I will be adding more. One thing I changed: Instead of buttermilk, I added 3 shots of Bailey's. Next time I think I will add a coffee flavored Bailey's, and maybe that will bring a bit more coffee taste. Oh, and if anyone things the measurements are off, I did too. But it all works out well, and if you fill your cups at half, you should get 10-12 cakes.

Cabbage Rolls II

Family loved it, especially my Dad. I used garlic seasoned diced tomatoes instead of tomatoe paste, and half the amount of salt. I also added a few cloves of garlic. Definately will use this recipe again. Thanks!
