I don't know about the flaky part but it was tasty for sure. Unfortunately i think I will go back to my recipe with shortening and pretend it doesn't have trans fats. I dont make a pie that often and I love a pie crust that truly is flaky.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Now, that was a pie. So good, so good! I followed the recipe to a "t" but sprinkled some cinnamon over the apples (i mean, hello). I used a butter pie dough crust and didnt do a lace top (kinda new to this and could figure it out) but not fear, the compliments from my guests were enough to make me feel like I owe Grandma Ople a big hug. To a great recipe (holding up coffee mug)....CHEERS!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This recipe was so good it was SMOKE’N! I followed the recipe to a T and I could not have been happier. Such great flavor and man oh man was that chicken juicy. Anyone that gives this recipe less than 5 stars is probably a closet vegan. :-) Ha! Truly a recipe worth giving a shot. Thank you, Marion!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Chantal are you god? TRULY an excellent tasting cheesecake! I took it to a party and after all the praise I got, it made me feel like a baking king! Back of Ms Betty Crocker, that’s all I have to say! To add my own flare to it, I added some chopped walnuts to the crust mix and followed the rest of the recipe to a “T”. Awesome, just awesome!

Tofu Chocolate Pudding

How fun was this? Yes, it was more like a moose than a pudding but great nontheless. I will make again and maybe spruce it up with a quick graham cracker bottom or like another viewer mentioned, some different flavor chips. Thank you for such a great dessert recipe I can give to my vege guests.

Honey Nut White Fudge

Wowzer! This had a really good flavor but man alive was it sweet. It was a little too sweet for me and everyone that ate it thought the same thing. I must have undercooked it as it was a little too soft also. I dont think i will make this again, but if I did, I would decrease the sugar and increase the cooking time.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Yes, this cookie had it going on! A hit with everyone that had it. I have elininated hydroginated oils from my diet, so i used i cup of butter intead of the margarin or shortning. I also used the "old fashion" style peanut butter to bring out the true peanut butter taste (also didnt want those hydroginated oils). It was a little buttery but very good. If you like peanutbutter and oatmeal, then give this one a whirl!

Banana Pie

OMG OMG OMG - This was a big hit at my dinner party. I my self thought pretty tasty. MMMMMM, yummy! I used vanilla pudding instead of banana flavor. I increased the banana's to 6 and made the slices a little thicker so the true banana flavor could come thru. I topped the dessert with chopped walnuts. I give this recipe 2 snaps and a smile!!

I found this to be very tasty. Not as good as mom's (but then again, what ever is?). I used 50% less fat instead of non fat...my bad? Gota go...i have some sit ups to do..

Banana Banana Bread

ok. So I followed the recipie to a "T". What was I thinking?? I love nuts and didn't put them in. ! It really would have added to the bread. I thought the bread was good and yes it was moist (i under cooked it) but it didn't have that -punch- I thought it would have with all the rave reviews. If you like banana bread, give this one a wirl...but don't forget to punch it up with your own personality. (nuts - how could I forget?)
