Blackberry and Blueberry Pie
Delicious recipe that everyone in my family loved. I did not end up using the crust part of this recipe, however, the filling was fabulous. I used frozen berries that we had previously frozen. Thawing them under warm water, I dried them with a towel before putting them in with the rest of the filling. Excellent flavor. I think I would use a little less sugar next time just to match my tastes. I also think we would use just blueberries and maybe try other types of berries too.

Juicy Marinated Steaks
Really good marinade. We used this marinade on a giant leftover pork rib. I made the recipe for 2 servings. I marinated it overnight to really soak up the flavor and then baked in the oven for an hour and a half. With more tender meat I probably would have cooked it on the stove. Great marinade that I will definitely use again.

Sally's Spinach Mashed Potatoes
Yum!!! Holy cow were these delicious and gloriously addictive. I did not expect much from this recipe thinking it had spinach and would be gross. I had a ton of fresh spinach on hand and so decided to make them. I softened the spinach with a little olive oil in the fry pan.The only real change I made to these was to take out the onion and substitute the butter for less olive oil. I also used less of the sour cream. I think that just depends on the size of your potatoes. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to chop the big pieces of fresh spinach down a little smaller.
