Cappuccino Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2004
Chocoholics dream! Very easy to make, and made the whole house smell so lovely... The brownies were a little bit on the dry side, though that might be my own fault. Watching brownies in the oven and a house full of son's friends does not go together very well, and I did get the pan out of the oven good 8 minutes after the timer rang. I will be making these again though.

Cherry Poppyseed Twinks

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
Although they tasted fine, I must have done something wrong. The cookies seemed to be almost frying on the cookie sheet. There seemed to be too much fat, so for the next load I added more flour, and they baked fine this time, although they seemed a bit ... dense.I did use margarine instead of butter (we have a milk allergy in the family). It might be the margarine, but I have never had problems with recipes requiring butter so... don't know what the problem was.

Coconut Icebox Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2004
I made these with my 4 year old son yesterday and they turned out fantastic! I planned to save them for Christmas, but my son ate one half, and my husband ate the rother half - I only tasted one cookie... We did make an alteration, though, I used brown sugar (half brown, half white). We also coated the cookies in dark chocolate and sprinkled some coconut on top - my son loved doing that! I'll be making another batch when son's in kindergarten and husband at work, so that I can hide the cookies and save them for Christmas :)

Fudgey Peanut Butter Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2002
A very delicious muffin. A chocoholics dream! I made it with chocolate chips though and only with 1/2 cup brown sugar (I did not add the 1/2 cup white sugar). I also added 1/2 cup white unsweetened yogurt, as the batter seemed so thick that I was afraid it would stay dry. The muffins were very moist and chocolatey! Will be making them again!
