Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2014
I followed this recipe exactly. What a lovely taste! Yes, I did need to thicken it by adding more cornstarch but that was it. It tasted great to me. Lots if flavor! However if you like .0, you can add more pepper or perhaps onion salt or beef broth/bullion. This stew can be tweaked in many ways to your liking but it is great as written or to use as a stew base and then tailor it to your needs. Good one!

Follow the recipe exactly! It's perfection! I can eat these over pie, ice cream, with pork, over pancakes or all by themselves. Simple simple simple to make! Worth every minute spent!

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2014
Very good! I liked cooking the pasta in broth. Makes perfect sense to me. In spite of the creaminess, I didn't get that've heavy full stomach feeling I get when eating say an Alfredo type sauce. This was very good!

Baked Pork Chops I

Maybe my taste buds are off but this dish didn't have much flavor to me at all. It was a sloppy looking dish too

Buffalo Wontons

I baked instead of fried and they were still very greasy. They were tasty and we liked them but I would never bring them to or serve them at a party. Just too oily.

I love my carrots like this. I add a little more salt for that sweet/salty contrast. Very simple!

Chicken Wings Pacifica

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
Tasty and very easy! I love recipes that call for ingredients that I always have, so ill be making this again. Note: this is a sticky type chicken wing, so if you like a drier kind, you may not go for this. Great to make in large bathes for parties or guests too. Some people fry their wings first for crispness but I found this recipe didn't really need that extra step, which saves a ton of clean up time

Eggs on the Grill

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2013
Fabulous idea! I gave it five stars just for the ease of the recipe alone! Fast prep and cleanup too! I have made these plain with salt and pepper, but I have also made them with peppers, chopped onions, once with chopped bacon and shredded cheese. There really is no limit and I love that you can make each muffin cup egg a different version, so everyone gets one that they like!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
This recipe came out delicious! I served it over egg noodles. Really easy! I loved that it did not call for a ton of ingredients as stews sometimes do. Leftovers tasted even better.

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

It was just OK, certainly not what I would consider delicious. The meat came out fine, but the cabbage, carrots and potatoes was bland bland bland.

Fried Garlic Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2013
SO easy! Can be made with any kind of pasta. I like to use linguine. Sometimes, when cooking the linguine, during the last five or so minutes I throw in some broccoli, then drain as usual. We usually have this on Fridays during lent for a meatless meal that is filling and satisfying. I love the garlicky-ness and reccommend using only FRESH garlic that you peel and cut up yourself.

Garlic Spinach

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2013
Im not a fan of cooked spinach, but my husband absolutely loved this! I think the recipe should be doubled if you are cooking for a crowd or large family since 2 bags of spinach really wilts down to almost nothing! Made the house smell yummy, and the spinach was very flavorful without having to add table salt.
