About this Cook
I'm a hard-working mother of 2 and husband to 1. The lady who's improving her kitchen skills, one allrecipe or idea from foodnetwork or family member at a time. Sometimes 2. I'm learning to love cooking, playing video games in my rare spare time, engaging in various activities, and spending quality time with my family.
My favorite things to cook
I prefer cooking flavorful vegetarian dishes and occasionally seafood dishes. I enjoy baking flourless cookies and various easy desserts with my oldest child. I am normally experimenting in the kitchen.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast prepared by my dad and sister. Preparing Brownies with my siblings and dad. Preparing eggs with salsa, black beans, and tortillas or french bread with my husband. And of course, the Thanksgiving dinner with everyone!
My cooking triumphs
Homemade marshmallows. Chickpea Stew with Spinach and Fried Eggs.
My cooking tragedies
I fail at pancakes and crepes. :( I avoid pork and beef like the plague.

Caramelized Chicken Wings
I loved this recipe; it was so flavorful and unique for my family. I would definitely make this a staple in my household. I used chunky peanut butter since that is the preference in my household and it definitely adds something special to the wings.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever
First Time Rating! Quick Back Story: I'm 3 months pregnant and had a sudden, intense craving for something sweet. I checked the pantry because I wanted to make sugar cookies, but I didn't have all of the ingredients, so I checked AllRecipes for recipes with the ingredients that I had on hand and I discovered this one. Result: I love this recipe! It's so quick and really easy. I made this recipe by using super chunky peanut butter the first time and used the chunky peanut butter again with chocolate chips added the next day. I combined this recipe with a glass of skim milk and I am in peanut butter heaven.
